Our work in Alaska has focused on reconstructing earthquake and tsunami histories over the historical and prehistoric period, mainly in the Kodiak Island region within the overlap of the 1788 and 1964 CE ruptures. Our studies have focused on characterizing coseismic land-level change and tsunami inundation in the region, helping help place bounds on the along-strike extent of Alaska-Aleutian subduction ruptures, and characterizing the behavior of splay faults in the 1964 rupture area.
