Our work in Japan is part of a collaboration led by Dr. Jessica Pilarczyk and Dr. Yuki Sawai focusing on the Kujukuri coastal plain near Tokyo. The work has focused on reconstructing historic and prehistoric earthquake and tsunami records in the Tokyo region to explore the plate boundaries involved in past ruptures.
